Let’s Sell East Turkestan to Donald Trump; We Want to Be the 51st State of America!

Everyone dreams what they want – Uyghur Idiom
Donald Trump, elected as the President of the United States, wished everyone a Merry Christmas on December 25 through his social media platform ”Truth.“ Alongside his festive message, he stirred significant global attention with his ideas about reclaiming the Panama Canal, making Canada the 51st state of America, and purchasing Greenland from Denmark. This reflects the U.S. government’s future strategy regarding China’s influence in the Arctic and its relations with Russia, as well as the prevention of the Chinese government’s expansion into Europe.
It is well-known that for any country to exist and develop, it needs various resources, including energy sources. Thus, after World War II, powerful nations have sought to develop energy resources rather than colonize weaker nations. They have advanced their own development through means such as renting, investing, and even establishing military bases in strategically important locations.
Of course, other countries, including those in different continents, transport energy resources like oil, natural gas, and coal through methods such as pipelines, trucks, and shipping vessels at sea.
Similarly, the Chinese government has been transporting resources from Africa and the Middle East through land routes via the Indian Ocean, the Malacca Strait, and the South China Sea, while also trading products with European countries through maritime routes and overland routes through East Turkestan, Central Asia, and the Caucasus.
As various security concerns and anxieties have intensified along these two routes, it is anticipated that this trend will continue to grow in the future. The Chinese government aims to reach the Arctic Ocean via the Bering Strait, which separates Asia from North America, intending to enter Europe from the north by navigating along the eastern or western shores of the ocean. This route is attractive because it has no artificial barriers, and the distance along the Canadian coastline is exceptionally short, minimizing travel costs. Since this route does not cross the territorial waters of any state, no transit fees are required. Therefore, through several years of scientific research and exploration, the Chinese government has successfully tested this route and aims to open a new trade route, with Greenland’s strategic location being particularly important.
Consequently, Donald Trump, who has long sought to squeeze China and undermine its ambitions, boldly proposed to acquire Canada as the 51st state of America and to purchase Greenland from Denmark with cash, aiming to counteract China’s ambitions.
In light of the Chinese government’s cordial approach towards Panama, which connects the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, Donald Trump is trying to restore American rights over the Panama Canal through a ”you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours“ strategy. If the Panamanian government is not accommodating, American troops could easily dominate there.
The U.S. government’s ongoing role as the world’s guardian faces serious challenges from China. Therefore, maintaining and strengthening this position is Trump’s goal to counter the threats posed by the Chinese government. If you genuinely wish to safeguard the world from the threats of the Chinese regime and increase the number of U.S. states to 51, then we present to you the opportunity to consider East Turkestan.
East Turkestan is strategically crucial as it serves as a platform for China’s ambitions for global dominance. Our homeland shares borders with ten countries, including China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tibet, and India. The underground and above-ground resources in East Turkestan are incredibly abundant, containing 117 out of 153 valuable mineral resources in the world. Even uranium, a key raw material for atomic bombs developed by the former Soviet Union, is mined in East Turkestan. Given its strategic significance and wealth of resources, the Chinese government is committing horrific atrocities against the Uyghurs to maintain permanent colonial control over these precious lands. China’s strategy for global dominance begins in East Turkestan and is realized through it.
Mr. Trump, while you express that the people of Greenland need the protection of the United States, have you considered how much we, the people of East Turkestan, including the Uyghurs, also need the protection of the United States? We Uyghurs hope for a permanent U.S. presence in East Turkestan, as our hopes, fortunes, and future depend on America. When you first took office as president, the U.S. government announced the Uyghur Act. Have you thought about how joyous we were and how much hope it brought us at that time? Furthermore, through your legal and just ruling that ”the Chinese government is committing genocide against Uyghurs,“ you sent a strong signal to the Chinese government and made them tremble! According to international law principles, the right to self-determination exists for any people subjected to genocide, and your actions signal that you, Mr. Trump, are providing us Uyghurs with the opportunity for independence.
Therefore, restoring the independence of East Turkestan is the only guarantee for freeing the Uyghurs from genocide and preserving their existence. It is only powerful nations like the United States that can protect our lives and existence and save the world from the threats posed by the Chinese government, so we urgently need American support.
Honorable Mr. Trump, just as you have made acquiring Greenland part of your important strategic plan, we hope you will include the purchase of East Turkestan in your future plans. This would be crucial for the U.S. government’s political strategy to manage China and Russia through East Turkestan. It could also open a new route for exporting East Turkestan’s abundant resources to the world through the Gwadar Port in Pakistan.
Dear Mr. Donald Trump, We uyghurs respectfully propose that, just as you have strategically prioritized the acquisition of Greenland, the Panama Canal, and Canada, you also consider the acquisition of East Turkestan as a vital element of your broader strategic agenda. This initiative would play a crucial role in the United States’ geopolitical strategy aimed at effectively managing the influences of China and Russia through the strategic leverage of East Turkestan. Moreover, it would create a significant pathway for the region’s abundant mineral resources to be accessed by global markets via the Gwadar Port in Pakistan.
Honorable Mr. Trump, if the Western nations, under American leadership, extend their support for the independence of East Turkestan and offer assistance to the Uyghur people, there lies the potential for East Turkestan to achieve liberation from the oppressive grip of the Chinese government. In reciprocation for this pivotal support, it could be proposed that 50% of all mineral resources within East Turkestan be allocated to the United States and its Western partners for a period of 100 years under favorable terms. Additionally, establishing a military presence of American and NATO forces in East Turkestan would serve to mitigate the increasing threats posed by the Chinese regime.
Your endorsement of the East Turkestani people’s quest for independence, including the rights of the Uyghurs, would send a significant message against oppression and would contribute to a future where the region is securely positioned against external pressures from China.
Furthermore, such a strategic partnership would reinforce the United States’ stature as a leading and respected power on the international stage.
It is imperative that the United States and the global community unite to safeguard the innocent Uyghur nation from the grave threats posed by the Chinese government and to liberate them from the ongoing atrocities. May the Uyghur homeland emerge as a steadfast ally of a robust nation, and may the Uyghur people be recognized as esteemed and influential participants in the global movement for democracy and freedom.
